Tools

Connect electricity decisions to the temperature, timing and reliability of a useful heat service. Compare direct electric heating, heat pumps and electrically charged thermal storage on one process boundary.

This centre covers process heat, heat recovery, heat pumps, thermal storage and their electrical interfaces. Heating examples use MWh_th and MWh_e explicitly; they do not turn stored heat into electrical backup capacity. Cooling requires a separate cold-service boundary and performance data.

Process heat and thermal storage comparator

Compare direct electric heat, heat pumps and electrically charged thermal storage against one useful heat duty and delivery temperature. Check electrical headroom, source heat, temperature, capacity and charging window separately.

Connect to existing tools

This application establishes an asset or heat-path comparison boundary. Project dispatch, power shortfall and external flexibility commitments require their own checks.

Heat-pump source and price threshold checker

Check source heat, temperature, output, timing and import headroom before using an energy-price threshold. Separate compressor, auxiliary and thermal-loss boundaries and preserve failed gates.

Thermal reserve and recovery planner

Enter useful heat inventory, protected floor, process load and charging window. Show time to reserve, infeasible curtailment and recovery energy. Start with a declared constant-duty screen; dynamic temperature behaviour needs validated data.
