Data Centre Power Centre / Online tools

This centre supports developers, facility owners, utilities and energy advisers who need to make a power-supply decision.

Project data and decision apps

Start with your own data and quotations. Each app explains inputs, plots results and offers downloadable reports and an enquiry summary. Prefilled values are fictional examples.

Project data health check

Read a CSV locally, plot accepted data and identify missing intervals, duplicate timestamps, invalid values and the evidence needed before analysis.

Data centre supply option comparison

Compare one common supply duty across grid, BESS and generator options. Check constraints before ordering user-entered lifecycle costs.

AVAILABLE NOW + DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT

Start with tools that change the next decision

Available now: six-dimension evidence diagnostic

Identify evidence gaps, next actions, owners and due dates; download the result and transfer it to an enquiry. It measures evidence completeness, not eligibility or technical feasibility.

Calculators and the next development stages

First-batch calculators and stage-two project tools are available. AI load analysis and multi-asset tools remain deferred pending credible data; use the existing tools to prepare inputs and evidence.

Live · screening calculator

Power gap and phased capacity calculator

Inputs
Enter the IT demand for each phase, its coincident facility multiplier, the import capacity and any confirmed ramp dates.
Outputs
The tool calculates facility demand and headroom for each phase, so you can identify when the project first exceeds its input capacity.
Limits
Use the result to prepare a utility discussion; it does not establish an approved connection or a reliability result.

Live · screening calculator

BESS bridge and recharge checker

Inputs
Enter the AC shortfall, battery power and energy, protected SOC window, efficiencies and the available charging window.
Outputs
The tool checks whether the battery can cover the full shortfall and shows how much energy and time are required to restore SOC.
Limits
Protect critical-service reserve in the inputs and verify equipment behaviour separately; this calculation does not validate UPS performance or transients.

Time-to-power milestone tracker

Inputs
Enter utility commitments, study and construction milestones, baseline/forecast/actual dates, dependencies, named owners and written evidence.
Outputs
The tracker flags open evidence, date conflicts and overdue actions, plots milestone dates and records local changes when explicitly saved.
Limits
Dates remain estimates until the responsible party provides suitable commitments. Local change history is not a tamper-proof audit trail.

Awaiting credible data · deferred

AI load scenario explorer

Inputs
This later-stage tool would require credible workload profiles, explicit IT and cooling boundaries, and approved deferral and SLA limits.
Outputs
It would compare peak demand, ramps, rebound and energy use across scenarios whose assumptions are visible to the user.
Limits
Development should wait for credible input profiles; a synthetic curve cannot be presented as a universal AI load profile or measured ML result.

Recommended integration

Prefer native site components that reuse inputs, languages and project handoff. Simple calculations can run in-browser without external iframes. For tariffs, eligibility or revenue tools, establish sources and update ownership before integrating with MCDE or a persistent workspace.
