Each tab shows a stable ID. Use those IDs for predecessors; comma-separated dependencies may form branches. The check rejects missing IDs and cycles. Baseline dates remain editable, with changes recorded when you explicitly save.

Removing a referenced milestone leaves an explicit missing-dependency error until you update its successors. No dates are silently rescheduled.
