Data Centre Power Centre / Project support

This centre supports developers, facility owners, utilities and energy advisers who need to make a power-supply decision.
PROJECT SUPPORT · SCOPE FIRST

Define inputs, outputs and progression gates

These are scopes you can enquire about. Actual work depends on evidence quality, specialist responsibilities and an agreed engagement. An online diagnostic does not replace design approval, market qualification or investment diligence.

Stage 1 · Evidence and utility readiness

Required inputs

Please provide the site location, phased IT and facility loads, utility correspondence and continuity requirements. These establish the boundary of the first review.

Intended outputs

The review should identify missing evidence, set out an initial capacity balance and produce questions the utility needs to answer.

Stage 2 · Pre-feasibility option review

Required inputs

Provide the applicable tariff, installed quotations, asset limits, fuel and permit conditions, together with the failure scenarios the facility must withstand.

Intended outputs

The review should compare equivalent-scope alternatives, explain the assumptions that change their ranking and define the required specialist studies.

Stage 3 · Delivery and decision support

Required inputs

Provide the connection agreement, procurement plan and commissioning scope, and identify the party responsible for each remaining risk.

Intended outputs

The intended outputs are a decision brief and a traceable action register, supported by the evidence required for acceptance.

Prepare the first discussion

State the country, your role, current stage, decision needed and timing. List available documents and missing information. The guide diagnostic can transfer its results into the enquiry form. Never include passwords or system credentials.
